The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is an annual parade presented by Macy’s in the United States every November to celebrate Thanksgiving Day. The tradition started in 1924, and has always been the most prominent Thanksgiving event in the country. The three-hour event is held in New York City starting at 9:00 a.m. EST on Thanksgiving Day.
