It seems like everyone’s dependent on Twitter already.  Once its down, the whole world notices!  The pages fail to open and we get a Network Error.  Even their subdomains are down as well.  Many are speculating on what happened.  Did their server just crash?  or is Twitter hacked?  People are searching for answers as well and they want to know the real story and if their private information and passwords are safe.

TechCrunch had issued a report saying that Twitter was hacked by “Iranian Cyber Army”.

Earlier at around 10am Tech Chrunch reported that the site was defaced with this message:
