On 2 October at about 21:00 GMT, Typhoon Parma hit the Philippines. The point of landfall was near 17.0 North, 123.4 East. A minute of maximum sustained winds to the region of around 185 km is brought by Typhoon Parma. Report say that the strength of wind will be higher 5 to 6 hours fro now. Everyone should be vigilant and be ready on this upcoming storm as we will never know what will happen next. The reports are just predictions and approximations. We can’t guarantee that it will be stronger or weaker until the Typhoon will reach its pinnacle.

Damage scale the potential property damage and flooding from a storm of Parma’s strength at landfall includes:
- Terrain continuously lower than 1.5 meters (5 feet) above mean sea level may be flooded inland 13 km (8 miles) or more.
- Evacuation of low-lying residences within several blocks of the shoreline may be required.
- Some structural damage to utility buildings and small residences with a minor amount of curtain wall failures.
- Damage to shrubbery and trees with foliage blown off trees and large trees blown down.
- Poorly constructed signs and mobile homes are destroyed.
- By rising water 3-5 hours before arrival of the centre of the storm, low-lying escape routes are cut
- By battering from floating debris, flooding near the coast destroys smaller structures with larger structures damaged

The damage approximation above is by Saffir-Simpson

Also, there will be potential flooding, specially to areas in the Philippines that is below sea level.
