Recently this week, another earthquake hit the Earth’s surface, and now, in the Eastern Turkey. Turkey was hit by a 6.0-magnitude earthquake last Monday, March 8, 2010. It was indeed another shocking news. Apparently, earthquakes were always around, circling the Earth’s surfaces and killing people.
The earthquake that hit the Turkey killed 57 people in an instant. The Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan blamed the commonly used material in building a structure – the sun-dried brick or simply the mud-bricks. These mud bricks was the main reason why the 6.0-magnitude caused a lot of people’s lives. Many were killed and injured. So the Turkish Prime Minister ended up having a solid decision, reconstructing the whole area in a new way – without using the mud-bricks anymore.
