Having an early pregnancy is such a risk especially if it happens to teenagers. These soon to be young moms needs a lot of mature things to learn in as much as childish things to unlearn. Aside from the medical risks of having it (pregnancy) too early, the emotional stress could add up the problem. Most often, these young pregnant are still in school and need to do a lot of adjustments. Future plans could twist all of a sudden.
The Pregnancy Pact Lifetime Movie is all about it. The movie is about the story of an online magazine journalist who goes to her home town to investigate a sudden increase in pregnancies (18 girls got pregnant) at her old high school, only to be in the center of a media firestorm after a report is published claiming that it’s all part of a “pregnancy pact.”
Among those who was able to watch it said that the movie is a bad example for the youths as it depicts pregnant teens smoking and drinking alcohol. On the other hand, some are saying that it just showed the reality of these things because this is really happening today.
They partnered with The National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy to offer the Pregnancy Pact movie free of charge to educators and non-profit groups after January 24th.
