
Nike Foundation created a powerful advocacy campaign; they called it “The Girl Effect. It is now one of the best viral video which promotes awareness on girl power in the developing world. It is not focused on sports but it emphasized education to pro-female supporters on how, by supporting girls in developing countries, we can help end world poverty. It is now conquering Facebook, their Facebook page already has 50,000 fans and still counting.
They define “The Girl Effect” as the powerful social and economic change brought about when girls have the opportunity to participate. They also enumerate some facts that involved a girl regarding education give importance on how they can cope up with the developing world.
