Serena Jameka Williams is an American professional tennis player and current World Number 1. Serena has been ranked World Number 1 by the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) on five separate occasions. She regained this ranking for the fifth time in her career on the 2 November 2009.
Recently, Serena Williams went into trouble when she had her outburst because of foot fault offense in a semi-final match. Because of this outburst, Serena Williams fined a record $82,500 and 2 years Probation.

The penalty for Serena William’s outburst was given by International Tennis Federation’s Grand Slam Committee. The original amount for her outburst penalty was $175,000 but it was downgraded to $82,500. The match where Serena Williams had her outburst was between her and KIm Clijsters for the US Open.

Serena Williams notorious and embarrassing outburst at this year’s U.S. Open in 2009 has proven to be very costly in more ways than one, for the world No.1 American tennis player.
Through this outburst, not only has her reputation, credibility and honesty to her rather dangerous and even scary temper tantrum and post-reservoir seems to be consistent with the press conference, but now her purse and her behavior on the court for the next season is also a hit them.
