According to Quigley Publishing Company, Inc’s list of top box-office draws, Sandra Bullock came on top based on a poll of theatre executives. Bullock was named the top box-office star of 2009. Recently, she was starred in two well-received films, “The Proposal” and “The Blind Side.” The movie “The Proposal” was the main reason she propelled to the top, it gained $33.6m on its opening week and has grossed more than four times what the movie cost to make.
