Quincy is a city in Norfolk County, Massachusetts, United States. Its nicknames are “City of Presidents”, “City of Legends”, and “Birthplace of the American Dream”.
Every year, the City of Quincy holds its annual slate of Quincy Christmas Parade. This year, the event began in Black Friday, November 27th with the Turning on of the Christmas Lights.

Santa and his elves arrived by parachute on November 28th and the 57th Annual Quincy Chrismas Parade will be held on Sunday, November 29th at 12:30. All events are free and open to the public.
Here are some of the synopsis of the Quincy Christmas Celebration:
- Turning on the Christmas Lights - (Friday evening, 11/27, 7:00 PM)
Note: this event will take place in the President Place Galleria (across from City Hall)
- Santa’s Arrival by Parachute (3 elves) – (Saturday, 11/28 @ 12:30 PM)
Note: This Event takes place at Pageant Field, One Merrymount Parkway, up the road from Adams Field.
- Parade Day - Sunday, 11/29 (Rain Date Sunday, December 6th) @ 12:30 p.m.
