SkiFree
SkiFree is a kid’s game written by Chris Pirih in 1991 while he was still working as a programmer at Microsoft. The objective of the game is to ski donw an endless slope and avoid obstacles that are encountered.
SkiFree was first written in C by Pirih on his home computer for both recreational and educational use. Eventually, the game attracted the attention of Microsot’s Entertainment Pack program manager and decided to include Pirih’s work in one of Microsoft Entertainment Pack’s release. Of course, with consent from Pirih.
The game was featured in the Best of Windows Entertainment Pack and was available as a ported version for Macintosh.
