March 9 – The much awaited Paramore concert ended with a disappointment for some of the Filipino fans. Organizers of the said event pushed back VIP ticket holders amidst the Gold ticket buyers after a supposed signal from the Paramore Road Manager to push the Filipino fans with VIP ticket passes back or else the Paramore concert in the Philippines will not push through.

A lot of claims are now surrounding the internet about the unprofessional treatment of the Paramore concert in the Philippines organizers with the VIP ticket buyers who paid ten thousand pesos for their ticket only to find themselves cluttered and squeezed in with Gold ticket buyers who paid around two times less for their tickets. According to the Filipino partners of the concert, they did not expect that the foreign management would signal such thing and said that they will give compensation for the VIP ticket holders. In an apology released by Charlamagne Lim, Producer/Little Asia, he said:

“First of all, I want to apologize for what happened last night. We didn’t want that to happen. The Paramore management and security decided a few hours before the show started to move the VIP section further back for the safety of the band and for their security reasons. We were against it and we didn’t agree but they told us that the show won’t push through if we don’t listen to them. We had no choice but to comply. I know you guys want a refund so we talked to their management again. Unfortunately, they didn’t agree as we expected. What we can do is to compensate all our VIP BUYERS ONLY. We made a deal with Paramore’s management and they will give all our VIP buyers AN OFFICIAL PARAMORE AUTOGRAPHED PICTURE and it will be PERSONALIZED!!! It will arrive end of this week or next week because it’ll come from the US and they will just ship it here. Also, we will give you the OFFICIAL PARAMORE CONCERT T-SHIRT in the Philippines!!! The shirt was never on sale but was used during the concert last night so the people who will have this are all the VIP BUYERS ONLY and that’s you!! Wear it with pride! To my customers, please text me the namaes of your autographed pictures and the size of your shirts. Please include the gender because it will be a baby tee for the girls and a t-shirt for the guys. To my good friend Royd’s customers, please contact him directly and I am going to tally with him with all the VIP tickets that he sold. I will make sure that all his customers will get them. Again, we want to apologize for what happened. We are so sorry and humiliated for what happened last night was beyond our control and jurisdiction. Last night was a lesson on our part. We will make sure that will never ever happen again. We will include that on our contract next time. Pls forward this message to all the VIP BUYERS ONLY. Hoping for your understanding and kind consideration.”

However, it looks like Filipino VIP ticketholders are still uneasy about this mix up and looks like a lot of them calls for a major settlement with Paramore concert organizers. Filipinos are now gearing up for another event on Sunday though. This time, they will watch Manny Pacquiao vs Joshua Clottey online free livestream. Some will prefer to watch Pacquiao vs Clottey Livestream at the UP Theater. Earlier, Arnel Pineda, Journey lead vocalist has just revealed that he will sing the Philippine National Anthem for Manny Pacquiao this coming bout.
