Oprah Winfrey, the most famous talk show host and also one of the richest billionaires according to Forbes’ list said that she would end her contract next year September 2011 bidding goodbye to her long-time running show for about 25 years!

Oprah Winfrey is set to start up on a new talk show on OWN – The Oprah Winfrey Network, which is a joint venture with Discovery Communications. It is said to replace the Discovery Health Channel and will debut in some 80 million homes.
The Oprah Winfrey Network is said to be launch on January 2011. Chief Financial Officer Brad Singer told analysts this month that Discovery plans to invest $30 million to $40 million in 2009 on programming, staffing and other costs.
Discovery is also lending the venture $100 million, and OWN hired “Oprah” co-executive producer Lisa Erspamer this month as its chief creative officer. Erspamer is expected to move from Chicago to Los Angeles in January.
There are other syndicated shows available in the television network — “Live with Regis and Kelly,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “Rachael Ray Show,” “Dr. Phil” and “The Tyra Show” — but none has the reach or influence of “Oprah.”
