A Japanese man has just married his girlfriend, Nene Anegasaki. Seems normal right? But here’s the catch, his girlfriend is not a virtual girlfriend which resides in a video game! What?!
Yes, you’ve heard it right! Sal9000 married the love of his life, a video game girlfriend named Nene Anegasaki.

The wedding took place during a Make: Japan meet-up held at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. In attendance were a live audience, an MC, the bride’s virtual video game girlfriend — who made a speech — and a real human priest!
Nene, his virtual girlfriend is a product of the new video game called “LOVE PLUS” which has swept Japanese off their feet. The Nintendo DS video game allows men to court and woo an array of virtual women. If they’re lucky, the pretend players even get to “kiss” them.
Commenters say that the marriage is just a case of one man unafraid to tell the world how much he loves a video game. Well, as they say ‘to each his own’ but definitely, even though I would be so attached and addicted to a video game, I will never ever marry a video game girlfriend.
Here is a video of the marriage from BoingBoing:

oh crap. that man is crazy! hahahha!
