Lina Medina is still known as the World’s Youngest Mom. She got pregnant at around 4 years old and gave birth at a tender age of five! It might be impossible to believe, but it is true!

Lina Medina was only five years old when she gave birth to her eldest baby sometime in May, 1939. She named the baby Gerardo, who was 5 pound 8 ounce. Originally from Peru, the little mother gave birth through Ceasarian Section. Medical records confirm that Lina Medina has a rare case of early sexual maturity or known as precocious puberty. In fact, her parents revealed that she had her first mentruation in 8 months old and her breast started to grow at age four.

Another interesting story in here is that Gerardo, Lina’s healthy baby boy, wasn’t aware that Lina was his mother. He thought they were siblings until everything was revealed to him when he was around twelve. Unfortunately, Gerardo died when he reached the age of forty because of a bone-marrow disease.

As we write this entry, the father of Gerardo and Lina’s ‘rapist’ was never identified. Who could that be?
