Facebook has been there to entertain us. It is a great tool to communicate to others. And right now, the thing that just struck the Facebook community, is the Doppelgänger Week. No, I’m not talking about the Doppelgänger ghosts, I am talking about a thing that is crazier than ghosts.

Doppelgänger Week is the latest trend in Facebook, which users switch their profile pictures to the picture of a celebrity that someone told them look like. Yes, in this trend, you can cheat. Even no one told you that you look like Brad Pitt, you can still post Brad Pitt’s photo as your profile pic (which made this trend crazy). More and more people were started doing this. Why? Here’s how:

Doppelgänger Week was started by Bob Patel. Bob said that most of his co-workers were teasing him that he looks like Tom Selleck. Then, that’s when he started switching his profile pic to Tom Selleck. Everybody noticed it and eventually  followed it. Doppelgänger Week Facebook is indeed an emerging trend.
