Michael Jackson is survived by three young children who will one day be presented with the horrific realities of the circumstances surrounding their father’s death.

And despite the – did he or didn’t he – rumours currently swamping the internet, it is undoubtedly for them that the truth about the alleged events of 1993 must be revealed – once and for all.

Aphrodite Jones has written extensively on her own blogspot that she is unable to get her book into the bookshops. She is totally reliant on Amazon for sales. This means that the casual shopper looking for something ‘substantial’ to read about Michael, is pretty much forced to choose between Shmuley, Taborelli, Chandler, Dimond or Halperin. In order to address the still largely ignorant public about who Michael was/is and the full extent of the travesty that was done to him – we need to get Aphrodite’s book into the shops. I and a number of people in the UK have been going round different bookstores and libraries across London libraries and ordering 2 books at a time. When the shop calls to let me know the books are in, I go into the shop and pay for both. I do NOT however take both books with me.

I, ( very politely,) then ask to speak to the manager on duty and explain that I would like leave one of the paid-for books in the shop as a display copy. I, very politely explain to the manager that the book is written by an award winning serious journalist and attempts to offset the misleading and downright deceitful books currently on offer regarding Michael Jackson. I also mention that the book is a bestseller on Amazon and that I would be happy to recommend the shop to many others. I have personally found this approach works especially well the more balanced, friendly and non-pressurizing one is to whoever you are speaking to. it is only worth speaking to the manager as they will be the decision makers in the library or bookshop.

If every fan / or believer in justice can do this small thing – covering as many bookshops and libraries as possible ( obviously in the libraries you are not buying the book but asking the library to order it in for you.) – I have been in contact with Aphrodite Jones and have let her know that in response to her statement about her inability to get her book into mainstream shops – that the fans across the world are now taking matters into their own hands and taking the initiative to support her. What we are attempting to do is in a sense ‘prime’ the still largely ignorant public out there -to be ready to understand the full extent of the misleading and erroneous information about the 2005 trial and the media’s part in force-feeding the American public into believing the very worst about Michael.

Please also remind every fan that Shmuley’s book is still being boycotted worldwide – and let them know it is because we, the fan community must remain united in our decision not to allow Shmuley to profit from Michael’s death by his act of staggering act of betrayal.

There are many non-english speaking fans abroad who may or may be able to discern the sub-text of Shmuley’s narrative in the book and may buy it thinking he is a friend of Michael’s – and that Michael approved of this publication. Shmuley has been travelling the world on a ‘promotional tour’ of his ‘book’, so we must get this message out there.

Michael told us in the film ‘ This Is It’ that it was ‘up to us’ not ‘them,’ to make postive changes happen.
