NEW YORK, This year’s “Sexiest Man Alive” is once again Johnny Depp. The People’s magazine once again choose Jonny Depp to be the winner of this year’s poll for the Sexiest Man Alive 2009 beating Hugh Jackman.
After announcing the coveted award, People’s senior editor Kate Coyne told CBS “Early Show” that the 46-year-old popular actor has come close to earning “iconic status in terms of sexiness”.
“Johnny Depp was someone who was sexy 10 years ago. He’ll be sexy 10 years from now. He’s someone who appeals to multiple generations of women,” she added.
“Johhny Depp has magical powers. He’s unlike anyone else,” says actress Isla Fisher, who’s married to Sacha aron Cohen. “He’s funny, generous and clever. It’s just a shame he’s so hard on the eyes.
Remember that Hugh Jackman was the last year’s winner of Sexiest Man Alive. Other stars who made the cut are Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Reynolds and the Glee Guys.
