Sexist? Degrading? Obviously, this publication is using its circulation to put a negative spin on Sarah Palin – when she is on a ‘high-point.’ Palin’s book released to high sales absolutely requires Newsweek to put an obviously inappropriate image of her as a political driving force. I believe they considered extreme closeups of her partial face – showing crow’sfeet near her eyes – but my bad, they already DID that one.

But the shots of Senator Edward Kennedy were nothing short of befitting a fallen leader, when he posthumously made the cover. Something tells me that if something grave ever happened to Sarah Palin, they would run a quote from Tina Fey ‘in Palin character’ from SNL.

“I can see Russia from my house.” HMMM. Wasn’t it Newsweek who made O.J. Simpson’s picture look BLACKER?

She’s just using all the tools in her arsenal, whether it’s showing a little thigh or showing little class. You pick. Either way, I’m rooting for her to be the de facto face of the GOP.

This is absolutely shocking. I’m rendered speechless. Not the Palin cover, mind you, but that Newsweek is still in publication. Does any thinking person still read it?

She posed for Runners World, not for Newsweek. Pathetic of them to use this for their cover. I don’t think it was the right way to go. What is wrong with shorts? She was RUNNING.

People are so tunnel vision…she’s either “perfect for Pres 2012″ or “an idiot”. She’s smart. And at the same time she may not be the best choice right now for President. Get over it people.

I think it looks great. What’s wrong with a woman in running gear? I think the politico landscape needs a complete makeover and she might be the one who could pull it off. We have been let down big time by Bush 1 (Read My Lips, no new taxes), Clinton (I did not have sex with that woman, I didn’t inhale…), Bush 2 (Too many malaprops to mention), and now Obama (Taxes will not go up unless you make over $250k per year.. Right!). Reagan was the last president to be proud of since Kennedy.
We certainly do need ‘Change’ and I ‘Hope’ she can pull it off. If not then we can just start calling each other ‘Comrade’…

Sexist? Come on … first, she POSED for this picture, posing like an aging cheerleader who is too self-centered to know she is way past the High School look.

But … Sarah is all about her sex appeal, so why is it a surprise that a ‘sexy’ picture of her is a cover?

Do you see Hillary Clinton ‘winking’ at her audience? Does Debbie Wasserman walk around in sexy open toed red shoes? Sarah can wear whatever she likes, and pose however she likes, but she can’t COMPLAIN when people see her for what she is.

If she looked like Golda Meir, nobody would pay attention to the dimwit, she knows that, we all know that.
