Carolina Panthers most valuable fantasy player DeAngelo Williams is back with the game and included in the starting lineup against Atlanta despite an injury at left knee. It was reported earlier that Williams sat out for practice last Friday for the second time in three days and has been limited in Thursday’s workout.
Now Williams was questionable why this he was unable to practice for two of three practices last week. According to the Fantasy analysis, the Panthers believe that Williams will play but still undoubtedly until about noon Eastern time of this Sunday. Now if he will play in the game, Jonathan Stewart would stand to see a lot more carries while Tyrell Sutton and Mike Goodson will back up him.
They have only one choice but to start an active Williams and hope that his knee injury is nothing. If not, we should expect to see Jonathan Stewart having a heavier day in terms of touches. Williams was presently ranked fifth in the NFL with 768 yards rushing, including the 307 in the past two games.
