Manila, Philippines
Aspiring candidates for the next Philippine president already begin their campaign after months of unofficial free-for-all. The Commission on Elections already set their guidelines that these candidates should follow during the election campaign. The Liberal Party candidates Benigno Aquino and Mar Roxas will start their campaign in Tarlac. They will have a motorcade that will start in the Aquino Museum, then to Bamban Capas and Tarlac City. On the other hand, the Nacionalista Party candidate Manny Villar will have his “90-day journey to a better Philippines” and he will start in Calamba, Laguna.
Lakas-Kampi-CMD presidential candidate Gilbert Teodoro and vice-presidential candidate Edu Manzano will start their campaign tonight in Antipolo City at the Ynares Sports Center. The “Transformers” Dick Gordon and Bayani Fernando will officially start their career in Imus, Cavite. The Bangon Pilipinas Party candidate Eddie Villanueva will start today at the Rizal Park.
The Commission on Elections reminds all the candidates that they should follow the guidelines they released so that a better and fair election campaign will be possible.
