The 6th Call of Duty game known as Modern Warfare 2 (COD6 MW2) was the best selling title in the gaming industry since last week. It sold 4.7 million copies in the first 24 hours alone with a total gross income $310 million USD. That was only the stats from North America and the United Kingdom.
Modern Warfare 2 grossed $550 million since last week’s launch world wide, according the Activision.
8 million copies of the game have been sold, based on the report from LA Times. Analysts expect that at least another 10 million games will be eventually be unloaded.
What’s cooler about Modern Warfare 2 is its Prestige Edition. Its Prestige Edition includes fully functioning night vision goggles! Check out the image below:
