The 6th Call of Duty game known as Modern Warfare 2 (COD6 MW2) was the best selling title in the gaming industry since last week. It sold 4.7 million copies in the first 24 hours alone with a total gross income $310 million USD. That was only the stats from North America and the United Kingdom.
Modern Warfare 2 grossed $550 million since last week’s launch world wide, according the Activision.
8 million copies of the game have been sold, based on the report from LA Times. Analysts expect that at least another 10 million games will be eventually be unloaded.
