The 2010 World Cup Draw would have a largely random draw held at Cape Town’s International Convention Center before a global audience.  It is estimated that 200 million television viewers will be glued to ther TV sets when this happens.  Some would even watch this live online as streaming of the event is available in the internet.

This event however would attract terrorists and prankers.  Earlier today, they received a bomb threat and the police had to tighten the security around the building 6 hours before the draw which is due to commence at 7pm local time (5pm GMT).

David Beckham, probably the world’s most famous footballer, is one of the many guest stars in the evening’s draw.  The event will also have other famous guests including Archbishop Desmond Tutu and F.W. de Klerk as well as Charlize Theron, the South African actress, and Haile Gebrselassie, the Ethiopian Olympic champion.
