American Idol Season 8 finalist Adam Lambert surprised the crowd at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles with his sexy performance on the American Music Awards 2009 which was aired live on ABC.
He ended the show with a performance of his debut single “For Your Entertaiment,” which has got some negative comments because of the simulated oral sex with one of the male backup dancer. Aside from this, a female dancer grabbed Lambert’s crotch and had a short makeout session with the male keyboardist.
As promised, Adam Lambert really did a very sexy performance on the American Music Awards 2009 which stunned the audience as well as the millions of viewers on ABC.

His performance was not shocking, just disgusting and tasteless. I have to agree with the author of the website I linked to above that ABC needs, in his words, “Lambertasted,” for that horrible choice of a closing act. Learn some class, ABC!!!
Loved Adam – hilarious and did exactly what he set out to do, get talked about – he is doing just what he did on Idol, “first they are sour, then they are sweet” on letterman on 10/25 he is going to sing this and I cannot wait for that side either – rock on Adam – you are amazing!

His performance was just like the performances of just about every female pop star in the last 10 years. 1 out of every 3 performances will simulate going down or having sex in some way. Don”t they notice the female stars bending over, being groped by backup dancers, and wearing outfits that an underwear model would consider distasteful?
This should stay in the closet, kids were up watching this crap! .
I love Adam – - I did the entire time on American Idol. I love that song. BUT I have to admit, that was the worst performance! The vocals were weak. I wish that some of these performers would concentrate on singing and less “dancing.”
I was one of the viewers that was shocked. All Adam did was limit himself to the gay community. I followed him during his discovery on American Idol and loved his voice. He also sang and acted with “class”. I was disappointed to lose that Adam. I wish him no harm but I think he just hurt his career before it even got started.
Adam Lambert is disgusting! His performance compared nothing to the Madonna, Britney, Christina performance. Not only did he disgust me he didn’t even sound good singing, totally glad he didn’t win American Idol. Lambert is nasty and ABC should apologize for airing such a lewd and tasteless act. GROSS!
I have always enjoyed Adam ever since he was on American Idol but was
very disappointed with his performance on the AMA. In fact, since he has taken over his career his whole attitude and appearance have become more offensive.
Why waste a beautiful voice and wonderful career to make a statement!
Well, as many others; I thought Adam was a terrible example for our youth! We have way too many of them already! What is ABC thinking? Obviously they don’t care!!!
Well you can’t make it on your art you have to make it on being a weirdo… too bad he won’t be remembered for all his work on becoming a singer, but only for his tasteless triade during this performance… no point in me watching the show anymore if they have resorted to that low a level…doesn’t take any skill to just shock the public…He stinks!!!
I previously like Adam, but have certainly changed my mind. I found his performance extremely offensive. I pray his career is over — it’s certainly over in my book!
