21 Politicians and Journalists Abducted in the Southern Philippines

21 kidnapped politicians and journalists have been found dead in the Southern Philippines, the Philippines military says in an interview. They were caught early on Monday in the southern Mindanao island group.

The military said was taken by armed men who tried to file nomination of candidates for future local elections.

Often violent campaign by the Philippines, south, and is connected rebellion erupted in conflict areas where conflict is particularly impaired.

Five countries in 2010 is to hold parliamentary elections in January. Registration for local and national races began this month.

Jess Dureza, the adviser of President Arroyo volatile Mindanao region, “a civilian, was a gruesome incident in the recent history of a kind,” he said.

We should now be very careful, specially in going to Southern Parts of the Philippines
