2010 Vancouver Olympics – Ice Hockey Women’s – Canada vs USA in Finals – The two time defending champion Canada defeated Finland with a score of 5-0. Canada literally gave a beating to the Finns. With this win, the Canada Ice Hockey Women’s Team will advance to the finals and will be facing the United States Ice Hockey Women’s Team.
Meghan Agosta was responsible for the historic goal that she scored during the Canada Finland game. Along with this, the Canadian Ice Hockey player netted a rebound goal with only three minutes left on the clock in the second period. This gave the Canada Women’s Hockey Team a 3-0 lead. That was also Agosta’s ninth goal during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
The Canada and the United States Women’s Hockey Teams have met many times in the finals. The only time that these two teams were not able to meet was when Sweden shocked the world by beating the United States.
